Understanding Image Sizing in creativehub

Did you know you can change the size of the image you want to sell or share with another user, so long as the image quality of your original upload is high enough (300 dpi)?

Please note that this only resizes, and does not crop the image. If you would like to crop your image you will have to perform this in photoshop or other image editing software before uploading your image.

To resize in creativehub, simply select the image you want to resize, and click ‘print sales pricing’.

You will then see this screen:

Where you can change the print width and height. Choose between cm or mm measurements, depending on your preference (just above the red box). When you enter a height or width measurement to your image in these instances, the corresponding height or width measurement will be calculated automatically by creativehub to match the aspect ratio (the ratio of the width to the height) of your uploaded image.

For example if your image was uploaded at a size of A0 (841 x 1189 mm), this means that the aspect ratio of that image would match that of all A sizes. To resize the image to an A1 (594 x 841 mm) print, simply enter 594mm in the height/width field depending on whether your image is landscape or portrait.

If your uploaded image is sized so that it does not have the correct aspect ratio of the image you wish to print or sell, then you will have to size/crop that image accordingly outside of creativehub and upload it with the correct aspect ratio.

To give you a quick reminder on uploading images, we recommending uploading your images at a resolution of 300dpi sized at the maximum size that you wish to print or sell your image at.
